River Studio

Go with the flow and unwind at this fully-furnished studio apartment. All guests enjoy river-front access with paddleboard and kayak rentals included ($10 per hour for outside visitors). The property is also a short drive from the Calhoun boat launch.

Looking for more high-stakes river adventures? Hiwassee Acres is less than an hour away from the world-class Ocoee River whitewater section and 35 minutes from the Upper Hiwassee River. We highly recommend a whitewater rafting trip on the Ocoee, when in season, or a more-gentle inflatable float down the Upper Hiwassee.

This suite is complete with a queen bed, full sized kitchen, dining area, sitting area, bathroom with a beautiful tile shower, and a wall mounted TV that swivels so it can be viewed from the bed or the sofa. There’s everything two people need to live comfortably in the River suite.

Meeting guests is our favorite part of running Hiwassee Acres! We love showing you around the property and learning something about you. We also take pride in making sure you are comfortable throughout your stay..

When you arrive on the property, turn right at the red barn and park at the office building, located straight ahead. We will meet you there and take you personally to where you’ll be staying.

Before you arrive, please fill out the general waiver so there are no delays to fun activities during your stay.

If you think you will arrive after 10 p.m. EST, please let us know, and we will contact you beforehand to make alternate check-in arrangements.

No pets are allowed in the lodge. However, we do allow pets in the villas on a case by case basis for an additional charge.
