Check In

Meeting guests is our favorite part of the job running Hiwassee Acres!

When you arrive on the property, turn right at the red barn and park at the office building, located straight ahead.
We will meet you there and take you personally to where you’ll be staying.

Before you arrive, please fill out the general waiver so there are no delays to fun activities during your stay. If you think you will arrive after 10 p.m. EST, please let us know, and we will contact you beforehand to make alternate check-in arrangements.

Google maps is the best way to find us. Just be aware that the property is located at the end of a country road that meanders by the Hiwassee river and narrows about a mile before our property.

If you see any “DEAD END” signs, don’t be discouraged. We are the dead end. Once you pass our main sign, keep driving until you see a line of mailboxes on your right. Turn right just after the mailboxes and in front of the red barn. We will be waiting for you in the large brick building in front of you to get checked in.
Please be aware that the country road is quite dark at night. Arriving during daylight will make for a more pleasant and scenic drive.

We are conveniently located halfway between Cleveland and Athens, TN, with both towns just 30 minutes away. Each town offers plenty of dining options to choose from. If you plan to cook in your room, we recommend picking up groceries before you arrive. And don’t worry about breakfast—we’ve got you covered! We’re excited to offer a delicious breakfast for our guests from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM.
