Horseback Riding

Hiking

Explore more than 200 acres of trails and refresh your mind with the sights, sounds and smells of the forests.

Kayaking and paddle boarding

All overnight guests have free access to paddle boards and kayaks during their stay at Hiwassee Acres. Day visitors can also rent the watercraft for $10 per person per hour. Just make sure to sign a waiver and pick up some life jackets before you hit the river!

Fishing

Grab your gear and cast a line in our stocked pond for a catch-and-release adventure, or head to the river (just remember your TN fishing license)!

Disc golf

Call in your friends and family and play a round at our 9-target disc golf course, designed for players of all skill levels!

Pickleball

Pick up a paddle and head down to our open-air pickleball court for some timeless family fun.

Gathering space

The main office building includes an indoor gathering space – perfect for all weather – with a ping pong table, snack bar, table games and seating areas.

Animal farm

Visit our charming animal farm and get up close with friendly chickens, goats, sheep, a cow, and a donkey. Our two Great Pyrenees livestock dogs will take good care of you, too. Ask us about feeding times for a more interactive animal encounter!
